Relevance of the Church Explored at Lifetree Café: Whether the Church is still relevant in today’s world will be discussed at Lifetree Café at the Mandarin Senior Center, 3848 Hartley Road, this Tuesday, the 19th at 3:30 pm, at the Mary L. Singleton Senior Center, 150 East First Street, on Thursday, the 21st at 12:45 pm, here at Hope at 7:15 pm and at the Mandarin Senior Center on Firday, 22nd at 1:00 pm. The program, titled “Is Church Obsolete: has God Left the Building?”, explored emerging trends showing the church is quickly losing membership and eroding in influence.
Celebrate Recovery: Meets Saturday mornings from 9 am to 11 am.
Garden of Hope Tutorial Ministry Program will resume at Thomas Chase Apartment Complex, 4901 Sunbeam Road, this Tuesday, September 19th. The weekly sessions will run from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm. If you are interested in serving as a weekly tutor or a substitute tutor or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coralee or Pastor Pat.
